      criteria laid down by NAAC. The team also visited all
      departments,  interacted  with  students,  faculty,  staff,
      parents  and  alumni  and  members  of  the  Board  of
      Directors and Managing Committee of the college in a
      series of structured meetings.

      The NAAC peer team recognized the strong brand of
      MIET in the region, research and innovation carried out
      and campus greenery and ambience as perceptible
      institutional  strengths  during  the  exit  meeting  on  the
      nal day of the visit. They were especially impressed
      with the in-house developed Performance Insight-360
      analytics  software  and  three  national-level  awards
      won by the institute for this innovation. The peer team
      also placed on record their appreciation for the alumni
      engagement processes initiated by MIET especially the
      alumni awards and alumni mentoring program under
      which alumni mentor current students to help enhance

 The  NAAC  peer  team  visit  to  MIET  was  the  second
 accreditation  cycle  for  MIET  with  the  “A”  grade

 Barkatullah  University,  Bhopal,  Prof.  K.S  Ramakrishna,
 Pro Vice- Chancellor GITAM University, AP and Prof. M.L
 Kothari,  Professor  Emeritus,  Electrical  Engineering,  IIT-
 Delhi  visited  MIET  during  12-13  October  2017  and
 assessed  the  institution  on  seven  comprehensive
