Mr. Dhrub Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology Engineering at MIET, Jammu. He has around 12 years of experience in academia. He is currently acting as HOD in the Department of Information Technology. He received his B.E degree in Computer Science from GCET, Jammu and M.E in Computer Science from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He is pursuing PhD from SMVDU, Katra, J&K. He is working on the problem of resource management in cloud environment. His research interest includes image processing, cloud computing and mobile computing. He has published various papers in journals of national and international repute. He is a member of IEEE and ACM.
