Profile
With over 15 years of experience in the higher education and IT sector, Dr. Sahil Sawhney is an accomplished professional. He has a strong academic background, having published 15 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences, and filed 10 patents with the Indian Patent and Trademarks Office. In recognition of his leadership skills, Dr. Sawhney has received the CMI Level 5 award in Leadership from UKEIR. He has also been honored with the 8th I3 India Innovation Startup Award, showcasing his ability to drive innovation and entrepreneurship. Dr. Sawhney is a core member of the faculty-led startup Performance Insight 360, which focuses on developing a Quality Analytics framework. Currently, Dr. Sawhney is contributing as a General Manager of strategic initiatives at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology in Jammu. Under Dr. Sawhney's leadership, MIET is focused on ensuring high standards of excellence in all areas, including academic programs, quality assurance, and student success. He drives learning and development programs to continually improve the skills and knowledge of faculty and staff. Additionally, he is working on strengthening industry linkages by establishing partnerships and collaborations with companies and organizations to provide students with valuable opportunities for internships, research, and networking.
