Profile
Mr. Manchand Singh did his bachelor’s in civil engineering from College of Engineering and Technology, BGSBU, Jammu and Kashmir and Masters in Civil Hydraulics (Water Resource Engineering) from College of Engineering, BVP, Pune. He has two research papers in international journals. He has done his Bachelor project on “Impact of Industrial Effluent on Physico-Chemical Characteristics of River Basanter, Samba (J&K)” and master’s project on “Assessment of Effectiveness, Plan and Design of Watershed Management: A Case Study of Khor Village, Pune”. He has studied various port models during his visit to Central Water and Power Research Station (CWPRS), Pune. His area of interests are Irrigation, Dams, River Engineering, Water Power Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Watershed Management, Fluid Mechanics, Hydrology, Sediment Transport, River Engineering, Open Channel Flow, Coastal Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Operation and Maintenance of Hydraulic Structures, Floods and Disaster Management, Planning of Ports and Hydraulics engineering.
