Dr. Naik has a doctoral degree from Visvesvarayya Technological University, Belagavi, Karnataka State. Teaching for UG and PG Engineering students has been his profession since 1988. His doctoral thesis was mainly focused on the important key issue of river water pollution due to the discharge of industrial and municipal wastes. Extent of pollution and damage to the river water quality was exposed in terms of sensitivity analysis, modeling for dissolved oxygen, waste load allocation and classification of the river as per the BDU under National River Water Policy. Involved in testing and consultancy works, such as multi-village water supply scheme, testing of water quality for different sources, pollution control for industries etc. Played major role in preparing the SAR for NAAC and NBA for different colleges and successfully completed. Organized National and International Conferences offering a common platform for research scholars, industrialists and academicians.
