Profile
Dr. Priyanka Gupta has completed her post-graduation and doctorate in English Literature from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra (J&K) topic entitled &Re-interpreting Partition from Feminist Perspective in Selected Partition Novels& under thesupervision of Dr. Amitabh Vikram Dwivedi and Dr. Anurag Kumar. Her areas ofinterest are Post-colonialism, Gender Studies, and Contemporary theories. She hascontributed 16 research papers including 14 in Journals which are indexed in Scopus,UGC and other peer reviewed journals and 2 in Anthologies. She has communicated tovarious other journals also. She has completed NPTEL online courses organized by various IIT including, eightweeks FDP “Introduction to Literary Theory” conducted by IIT Kanpur, eight week’scourses in ‘Enhancing Soft Skills’ conducted by IIT Kanpur and eight week’s course in‘Interpersonal Skills’ conducted by IIT Roorkee. She has been teaching in GovernmentCollege for Women, Udhampur (J&K) from 2015-2018 as Assistant Lecturer in Englishand as Guest Faculty also. She has been teaching Communication English, General English, English Literature andAbility Enhancement to undergraduate students in Government College for Women,Udhampur (J&K) from 2015-2018. She is actively involved in writing articles for localnewspapers. She was invited as Jury member to Army Public School, Dhar RoadUdhampur (J&K) on 4/10/2018 for English Debate Competition and 10/05/2019 forNorthern Command inter APS English and Hindi debate. She has also worked asevaluator in Cluster University of Jammu in 2019-2021.
