About MIET

Model Institute Engineering and Technology is the first and only Autonomous Engineering College in the private sector in J&K state. Setup in 1998, it is approved by the AICTE, the J&K State Government and affiliated to the University of Jammu. It is the only technical institute in J&K to be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" grade. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at MIET is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) till 2025. Faculty from CSE have filed 35 patents with 2 granted and published over 100 papers in WoS/Scopus-indexed journals/conferences. Competitive grants worth INR 2.5 Crores have been received by the department from various funding agencies. The department also publishes the International Journal of Next- Generation Computing (IJNGC), indexed by the DBLP, Inspect, EBSCOHost, UGC-CARE and Google Scholar.

Publication

• The proceedings of the conference will be published by CRC Press (Taylor and Francis Group) and submitted to Scopus for potential indexing.
• Authors of select papers shall be invited to submit extended version of their papers (with at least 30% new content) for potential publication in the International Journal of Next-Generation Computing (Indexed in UGC-CARE List).
