The Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Jammu, launched the MIET Inspire Series, an initiative that brings exceptional achievers, leaders, and innovators to campus to share their journeys of grit, courage, and purpose. The series aims to motivate students to think beyond limits, pursue excellence, and develop leadership qualities essential for success in today’s dynamic world.
The inaugural session featured Colonel R. K. Sharma, KC, SC, SM (Retd.), a decorated Indian Army officer known for his bravery, discipline, and leadership. His remarkable career, marked by acts of valor and dedication to the nation, served as an inspiring example for MIET students.
In his engaging and heartfelt address, Col. Sharma shared his life lessons from the battlefield, emphasizing the importance of resilience, teamwork, and integrity in overcoming challenges. He urged students to stay focused on their goals, remain grounded in values, and contribute meaningfully to society.
