Bio: I am Dr. Taran Jandyal, a civil engineer with a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from NIT Srinagar, specializing in sustainable and eco-friendly soil stabilization. My doctoral research on “Biotechnical Stabilization of Marginal Soil Using Locally Available Grass and Plant Roots” demonstrated how vegetation-based methods enhance slope stability and resist erosion. With a B.Tech., M.Tech., and teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant, I have published in reputed journals, presented at global conferences, and reviewed for leading publications. A member of ASCE and ICE, I aim to advance innovative, nature-based geotechnical solutions that strengthen infrastructure while preserving the environment in vulnerable regions.
