In an endeavour to strengthen academia–industry collaboration and promote digital skill development, MIET Jammu has established an academic–industry linkage with IBM SkillBuild, a global digital learning initiative by IBM. This collaboration aims to empower students with in-demand technical and professional skills aligned with emerging industry requirements, thereby enhancing employability and career readiness.
The partnership supports the integration of industry-driven learning resources into the academic ecosystem, enabling students to gain exposure to globally relevant technologies and workplace competencies.
Programs Offered
Under this collaboration, MIET students gain access to IBM SkillBuild learning pathways covering a wide range of domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Software Development, Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), and Digital Literacy. The programs are designed to cater to learners at different levels, from foundational concepts to advanced skill development.
