Internships
The LL.B. program at MIET emphasizes practical learning through structured internships starting from the 2nd semester and continuing till the final year, aligned with academic progression and career goals.
2nd Semester
Summer Internship (6 to 8 Weeks)
A mandatory internship across sectors such as Banking & Finance, FMCG, IT, Consulting, E-commerce, and Manufacturing, where students gain hands-on experience and apply functional knowledge to real-world business challenges.

Live Projects / Industry Interface

Legal Aid Clinic
The Legal Aid Clinic at MIET, established under the aegis of the School of Law, serves as a vital platform to promote access to justice and legal awareness within the community. Functioning under the guidance of faculty members and legal experts, the clinic provides free legal assistance, counseling, and support to the underprivileged sections of society. It also empowers students with hands-on experience through client interactions, legal literacy drives, and participation in pro bono activities. MOOT Court
Moot Court at MIET offers law students a platform to hone their advocacy, research, and legal reasoning skills in a simulated courtroom environment. The 1st Nyaya Vedanta Intra-Moot Court Competition, organized by the Moot Court Committee, marked a significant milestone. This two-day event featured memorial exchanges, researcher tests, and rounds judged by senior advocates from the J&K High Court. With standout performances and rigorous argumentation, the event showcased the courtroom readiness of our budding legal professionals. Supreme Court Exposure Visits – MIET School of Law
