In an endeavour to strengthen academia–industry collaboration in the domain of immersive and interactive technologies, MIET Jammu has established an academic–industry linkage with Unity, a leading global real-time 3D development platform. This collaboration aims to equip students with future-ready skills in game development, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), and real-time simulation technologies, aligning academic learning with rapidly evolving industry demands.
The partnership supports experiential learning and innovation by integrating industry-standard tools and platforms into the academic ecosystem, thereby fostering creativity, technical proficiency, and industry readiness among students.
Programs Offered
Under this initiative, MIET students gain exposure to Unity’s real-time 3D development ecosystem, enabling learning across multiple application areas such as game development, AR/VR applications, 3D visualization, digital twins, simulation, and interactive content creation. The programs focus on practical skill development using Unity’s development environment, scripting frameworks, and design workflows.
