IBM Centre of Excellence
Overview
The institution signed an MOU with IBM in 2009 to set up the first IBM Software Center of Excellence in the Northern region. Under this Center, students of MIET get free training and certification on leading technologies from IBM, besides placement support and participation in The Great Minds Challenge (TGMC), India’s most prestigious project competition.
MIET Signs MoU with IBM, USA
Model Institute of Engineering and Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IBM, USA, to provide its students with access to the Skill Build platform developed by IBM. The MoU was signed by Ms. Claudia Cortes Romanelli, Director, WW Geos & Markets, IBM Corporate Social Responsibility.
This collaboration with IBM will enable MIET students to undertake high-quality courses in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity. The Skill Build platform is designed to help students gain the skills they need to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving job market. The platform provides students with an opportunity to learn from IBM experts and work on real-world projects.
