Bio: She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce at the Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous), Jammu. She holds a PhD in Commerce from Banaras Hindu University, with research focused on the functioning of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). With over 15 years of teaching, research, and industry experience, her areas of expertise include financial management, securities markets, accounting, corporate governance, financial literacy, and sustainable finance. She has published over 20 research papers, authored a book, contributed six book chapters, and presented papers at numerous national and international conferences. Dr. Sharma has also served as a Certified Resource Person for SEBI and the National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE), conducting financial literacy programmes for diverse audiences.
