Bio: Dr. Sharad Sharma has a PhD in Intellectual Property Rights from Department of Law, University of Jammu, has worked on his thesis titled "Administration of Law Relating to Geographical Indications: A Socio-Legal Study in UT of Jammu and Kashmir." He holds an LLM (2019) and LLB (2014) from the same institution, along with an M.A. in Political Science. His research and academic focus are on Environmental Law and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), particularly in the area of Geographical Indications (GI). Sharad has twelve months of teaching experience, having taught Intellectual Property Rights at the University of Jammu during the 2021-2023 academic session. He has also served as a Research Assistant on a national project studying the Indian police system in Jammu and Kashmir from June 2020 to December 2021. "
