Bio: Ms. Nasheman Farozan is an emerging scholar in the field of legal studies. She holds a B.Sc and subsequently pursued LLB from the University of Kashmir, followed by an M.A. in Political Science. She further advanced her academic journey by completing LL.M from the Central University of Kashmir, where she was awarded Gold Medal for her outstanding performance.
She has recently submitted her Ph.D. thesis at the University of Kashmir, with a specialised focus on workplace sexual harassment of women, exploring its legal, institutional, and socio-cultural dimensions. She is also UGC-NET qualified, reflecting her strong command over research and teaching aptitude. Her research contributions include projects and publications on issues related to sexual harassment of women and legal protections, which have added meaningful insights to contemporary academic discourse.
