Bio: Mr. Firdous Abdullah is an Assistant Professor of Law at MIET, Jammu. He previously served as a Teaching Fellow at the VIT School of Law, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Law at VIT Chennai with research focusing on "Law and Agricultural Biotechnology: A Critical Analysis of Regulatory Framework Governing Genetically Modified Crops in India." He holds an LL.M. from the Central University of Punjab and an LL.B. from the University of Kashmir, and has prior teaching experience as Assistant Professor at Sopore Law College, J&K. His academic interests include Intellectual Property Rights, Administrative Law, Interpretation of Statutes and Banking & Insurance Law . He has published in Scopus- and Web of Science–indexed Journals, presented papers at National and International conferences, and received CV Raman Research Award (2024 & 2025)
