Bio: Nowreen Maqbool Mir is Assistant Professor in the School of Law, MIET, Jammu. She completed her BA LLB at the University of Kashmir and LLM at RIMT University, Punjab, and is pursuing her doctoral studies at the School of Law, University of Kashmir. Prior to this appointment, she served as Assistant Professor at the RIMT School of Legal Studies, Punjab, and brings to her academic work two years of practical experience as an advocate in the district courts. Her research interests are abortion rights and reproductive justice.
