Bio: Dr. Akshita has completed her Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University in 2024, with research focused on drone technology, wireless networks, and protocols. She has one year of research experience as a Project Associate at the Central University of Jammu under the DST-PURSE Project, where she worked on the real-time monitoring and assessment of air pollution at dumping sites in Jammu. During her research career, she has contributed to SCIE-indexed journals, research publications, book chapters, and national and international conferences. Her research interests include UAV/drone technology, wireless communication, IoT, embedded systems, digital electronics, and AI/ML-based environmental monitoring. She is passionate about teaching, research, innovation, and student mentoring.
