Ms. Sheetal Mahajan has over 5 years of experience in industry and academics. She did her post graduation in CSE from CT Institute of Engineering, Management and Technology, Jalandhar and graduation from Rayat Bahra College of Engineering, Hoshiarpur both affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. She served in the Agriculture Department at Kathua for 2 years and 1 month as a Computer Programmer. Later, she served as Lecturer in Computer Science in different Higher Sec. Schools for 1 year and then served as Assistant Prof. at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra in CSE Deptt. for two academic sessions. Later, she served as Assistant Prof. at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Jammu  in CSE Deptt. for 1 year 5 months. At present she is serving at MIET Jammu since 22nd Aug. 2022 till date. She has done Oracle certification as an Oracle Database 10 g certified Administrator Associate, Administrator Professional and Associate PL/SQL developer. Her area of specialization is in the field of Digital Image Processing and major expertise in Database Management System and Software engineering. She has to her credit, 4 research papers published in various International journals.
