Dr. Ajit Virdi has over 18 years of experience in the academics, research and academic administration. He earned Ph.D. in Molecular Spectroscopy from Jammu University, where his thesis explored “The Spectral and Structural studies of some esters and related molecules”. His focus centers on theoretical studies involving photo isomerization, encompassing conformational analysis, molecular force fields, and reaction mechanisms within organic molecules. Dr. Virdi's worked as a Junior Research Fellow under UGC and later as a Senior Research Fellow under CSIR signifies his commitment to advancing scientific understanding. He has, to his credit, over ten research papers published in journals of national and international repute. Presently, he holds the role of an Associate Professor of Engineering Physics, continuing to impart knowledge and expertise in his field.
