With more than 20 years of dedicated teaching experience, Dr. Rajinder Sharma is a highly proficient educator. He earned his Postgraduate degree in Physics from H. N. B University – Uttarakhand, followed by a Ph. D. in Electronics from University of Jammu. Dr. Sharma initiated his career as Physics lecturer at SRS Degree College – Jammu, where he contributed significantly until 2008 and later he joined MIET, Jammu as Assistant Professor. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to education, Dr. Sharma was honoured with the Best Teacher Award in 2020 by Indian Society for Technical Education. His research interest areas are Metal-Semiconductor Contacts and Silicon Solar Cells, and he has authored over 16 research papers in journals of national and international repute. Dr. Sharma’s scholarly impact extended to the publication of two books, namely “Concepts of Engineering Physics” Volume-I and -II.
