Profile
Er. Sarvdaman Sharma has over 7 Years of professional experience in industry, academics, administration and consultancy in the field of civil engineering. He did his post-graduation from Lovely Professional University, Punjab in Transportation Engineering with pavement materials, designs, testing and construction as core areas of research interest. He served as Assistant Professor in University Institute of Engineering and Technology, University of Jammu for 4 years. During this tenure he has organized several workshops, civil field visits and seminars. In 2018 he worked as a quantity estimator engineer in a Govt. Civil Project namely Govt. Medical Collage Kathua. In 2016-17 he worked with a reputed consultancy and worked on several projects related to building structural designs and planning and geotechnical investigation of soil. He has vast experience working with PWD's, consultancies and civil labs. He has guided many bachelor’s students for projects and training. His research interest includes soil subgrade, base course and subbase coarse characterization and design, utilization of recycled materials in pavement mixes, studying low volume roads. He has, to his credit, over 5 research papers published in journals of national and international repute. Also, he has worked on entrepreneurial projects and helped many students to get seed grants and fundings.
