"Dr. Palvi Sharma is an Assistant Professor at the Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Jammu. She completed her B-Tech from Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, her M-Tech from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, and earned her PhD as a regular research scholar from Chandigarh University.
With 4 years of academic experience, Dr. Sharma previously served as a Teaching Assistant at Chandigarh University for 3 years and as an Assistant Professor at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University for 1 year. Her research interests are centered around Remote Sensing Images, their applications and Machine Learning.
She has made significant contributions to her field through publications in Scopus-indexed conferences and SCI journals. She has also authored and submitted several book chapters to various Scopus-indexed publications. Actively engaged in the academic community, She has organized conferences, reviewed over 100 research papers, and chaired numerous technical sessions. Additionally, she has guided and evaluated numerous students as their supervisor in projects, showcasing her commitment to mentoring and advancing student research and development."
